October 22, 2012: 40 Guild members and invited guests enjoyed the morning at Nordstrom’s learning about “What’s Hot and What’s Not”. The women enjoyed a continental breakfast followed by a demonstration on the latest fall fashions and how to accessorize.
The Guild for the Neighborhood Health Clinic walked away with five key points for fall fashion: add a touch of leather, be bold, embrace patterns, mix colors, and add lady like details. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 was a rare opportunity to see your physicians as you have never seen them before; singing, playing music and even performing magic in this special, one-of-a-kind program. Physicians showcased their non-medical talents at the Sugden Theater to benefit the Neighborhood Health Clinic and the Steinway Piano Society Scholarship Fund.
The Physicians’ Talent Show was created by Sara and Greg Billings in an effort to further illustrate the importance of musical education while helping to support the Neighborhood Health Clinic’s mission. “This event it the perfect way to merge our passion for music and healthcare while supporting our community,” states Sara Billings.

All 20+ members of the Neighborhood Health Clinic Heelers participated in 7th Annual Walk for the Way, a family-friendly 2.5-mile walk that took place Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the North Collier Regional Park.
The Neighborhood Health Clinic and the Heelers would like to extend a special thank you to Erin Heryford, who designed the t-shirt logo, and to Sweet Home Chicago Pub and Grub for underwriting the cost of the t-shirts and for joining the team.
In addition to a healthy walk, the Heelers enjoyed a community resource fair, live entertainment, face painting, local celebrities and mascots, free food, and the Miami Dolphins! There were also lots of great prizes including an iPod, movie passes and gift certificates to many local restaurants.
