The only “compensation” our volunteers receive at the end of a long day is a delicious meal donated by one of our local restaurants or by other groups who understand the mission of the Clinic and want to help.
BRIO Tuscan Grille’s mission is to bring the pleasures of the Tuscan country villa to the American city. On the third Thursday of every month they bring just that to the Neighborhood Health Clinic by providing a delicious hot meal for the volunteers.
After working all day in busy medical practices or at full time jobs, volunteers arrive at the Neighborhood Health Clinic ready to provide quality health care to low income, working, but uninsured Collier County adults. The gesture of a meal is greatly appreciated by all.
BRIO Tuscan Grille is located at the 5505 Tamiami Trail N in the Waterside Shops. They serve dinner and lunch as well as a brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Their menu includes such dishes as Bruschetta and Flatbreads, Seared Shrimp Risotto, Veal Milanese, Artichoke Crusted Beef Medallions, Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli and much, much more. And with items like Mocha Panna Cotta and Tirimisu, you’ll want to save room for dessert. For more information, hours of operation or to view their menu, please visit their website.
As supporters of the Neighborhood Health Clinic, we hope that you will remember the generosity of BRIO Tuscan Grille the next time you dine out.
