“I see a bright future for the Neighborhood Health Clinic,” said Warnken. “The organization, through the masterful leadership of Nina Gray and the unwavering support of the founders, Dr. Bill and Nancy Lascheid, has positioned itself throughout the years as an innovative safety-net healthcare provider. The medical staff, volunteers and board members that I have had the opportunity to meet are first class and committed to working together to continue to bring superior medical care to the low income, working, uninsured in the community.”
“As a seasoned executive, Jim brings not only impressive experience, but also a new and energizing vision to Neighborhood Health Clinic,” said Founders, Dr. Bill and Nancy Laschied. “His extensive healthcare background and commitment to the community will be a tremendous asset in the continued expansion of service to the working uninsured. The fact that the Neighborhood Health Clinic was able to retain the current CEO, Nina Gray, in the critical development role, exponentially increases the organization’s potential moving forward.”
Gray will transition to a newly created position at the Neighborhood Health Clinic which will enable her to continue doing the work about which she is passionate and finds most gratifying. She will be responsible for donor acquisition and stewardship, organizing and overseeing major gift campaigns and writing grants.
“I feel blessed to have served as the CEO and to have worked with a dedicated and knowledgeable staff aided by over 700 very talented and committed volunteers. My love and admiration for our founders and the support and guidance I have received from our Board of Directors has made my tenure as CEO the most meaningful, exciting and professionally rewarding experience. And now I welcome the new challenges, opportunities and assignments that await me,” states Gray.
