NURSES
Want to renew your love for nursing in a low stress, rewarding, collegial atmosphere? This is the place! As for fashion, nurses wear white. You can wear your own whites, or wear one of our lab coats, or purchase your own logo t-shirt or scrubs.
Our nurses are usually scheduled for two Clinic sessions each month, but we will work around your availability.
Actively licensed and retired
We have a place for you at the Neighborhood Health Clinic, delivering your expertise to ensure that low-income, working but uninsured adults in Collier County receive quality health care in a compassionate and respectful environment. Retired nurses review and maintain patient charts and keep the examination rooms stocked and ready. If you are actively licensed, you can help us serve the patients in so many ways. To make your experience with us as productive as possible, please note:
- The Clinic's medical volunteers are covered from malpractice issues by Sovereign Immunity
- We practice traditional medicine, nurses are paired with doctors on a clinic-by-clinic basis and work with them in traditional medical protocol
- As for fashion, bring whites-we have lab coats for all
- Our Clinic routinely provides the spectrum of activity from internal and family medicine, subspecialty practice, urgent and emergency care
- Our nurses are scheduled on a rotating monthly basis, usually participating in two clinics each month
- Wonderful opportunities for CEUs
- To keep our medical volunteers going, we provide food, beverages, break room, appreciation and support at every clinic
We offer a highly congenial atmosphere of medical and non-medical volunteers supported by a staff Medical Director and Lead Physician at each Clinic. My role as Nursing Coordinator is to anticipate your needs and the needs of the physicians and, most importantly, to allow your efforts to be totally directed to our patients. Please call for more information and to schedule an interview so that you and I can explore how the Neighborhood Health Clinic can meet your needs and you can help us meet our goals for the community.
