The Neighborhood Health Clinic announces their 10th annual Block Party. It will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a cocktail reception, an elegant sit-down dinner and dancing to the local popular duo Cahlua and Cream.
The goal of the event is to generate approximately 25% of the Neighborhood Health Clinic’s annual operating budget. The Clinic delivers quality medical care to low-income, working, but uninsured, Collier County adults, using a volunteer professional staff. The patients of the Neighborhood Health Clinic are the real beneficiaries of the revenue generated at the Block Party.
After taking a two- year sabbatical from the Block Party, Susan Jones returns as event chair. This will be the 7th time she has chaired the event although Mrs. Jones has been volunteering as a nurse with the Clinic since it began in 1999. “I am excited to be back chairing this 10th Anniversary Block Party. The satisfaction that I receive as a Healthcare professional as I care for the less fortunate on a clinic night motivates me to raise more money to continue this service to the community for the next 10 years!!” says Mrs. Jones.
The committee is currently seeking sponsors for the 2013 event. Event invitations will be mailed in early January. The ticket price is $250 per person.
